Would anybody be interested in a social ride, on Sunday mornings? Probably starting about 8am, starting and finishing at one of our sponsors, AJ's eatery?

Hi Russell, As discussed with you on sat would be happy to meet for a ride up Mt Macedon and show you those nice little alternate roads. What about up the Mount the easy way from Woodend (which is about in the middle for both of us) for coffee at the Cross cafe then down the face and onto the roads I would like to show. I am free next sun 12/8 If that suits, best I could do would be 9.30am as have a late night on sat. Margaret

Hi Margaret,
Unfortunately I can't make this weekend, but can definitely do next weekend (Sun 19th) - meet @ Woodend (at Bourkies Bakehouse?) at 10am?
Cheers,
Russell.

Hi All,
I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying the social rides. Naturally, I can't always ride at my own pace. It might be either slower or a bit faster than I would normally ride if on my own. I mentally separate my rides into two compartments - a primarily 'fitness' compartment where I ride on my own and often try to improve my times, and a 'social' compartment, where I just go with the flow and enjoy the company.
I hope the Sunday social rides continue, and that they enjoy increasing support from old and new members.
Lawrie

Was looking at your previous post about ride enjoyment. Please you are enjoying them. I have difficulty of joining them because of other commitments unless there is something very special on then I will come. They are anticipated to continue even through the cooler/colder months.

Great ride today from Gisborne, partway up Mt Macedon, around Baringo loop, down to Riddells Creek, then back to Gisborne for coffee. 14 participants covered the short and long route (30-45K) in perfect weather, including no wind. Lots of camaraderie and good spirits all around. Some planning took place for the forthcoming trail ride of 2-4 days during the first week in December, staying in Beechworth (Suitable for road bikes). Members, prospective members, friends and family, all welcome. As of today, about 12 riders have booked accommodation, with a number of others expressing keen interest. Contact the club secretary for further details.

Hi All, I can't make Sunday rides unless it is VERY special. I'm asking if anyone is up for a Saturday ride starting about 8.00. I live at Romsey but have no difficulty going somewhere to meet up for a ride either by the bike and continuing the ride or by car to a location then ride. I'm also open for rides during the week in the mornings except Tuesdays. No difficulty riding 50k at about 20-22kmh
